The use of Energy within the Construction Industry is becoming more and more prevalent in today's energy conscious society. The impact from the governments requirements to reduce carbon emissions, the introduction of Energy Performance Certificates, environmentally responsible building construction and the increasing demand for sustainability has put pressure on the industry to look at new methods of construction and the impact that construction and new buildings have on the environment.
At mmbl we have created an 'Energy' division to tackle these issues and help our clients through the new government initiatives. The mmbl Energy Team is headed by Operations and Energy Survey Manager Ian Blanchard (MRICS). Ian is a chartered Building Surveyor who has been a Regional Manager on the English House Condition Survey, is Level 4 BEA accredited (BRE), is also a qualified DEA Assessor and is an external assessor for BRE. Ian's team of Energy Assessors have all qualified through the BRE and have specialist further qualifications in order to undertake New Build EPCs and Commercial EPCs. We believe we have one of the most knowledgeable, experienced and comprehensive Energy Teams in the country.
